美国通用汽车公司目前是美国也是世界上最大的汽车制造公司,1994年生产汽车839万辆,拥有1986亿美元资产,年收入1550亿美元,年利润49亿美元,雇员69万人。 其商标(见图1)上的“GM”字样是通用汽车公司英文General Mo-tors Gorporation的简称,取自前两个单词的第一个字母。
Currently, GM is the largest automobile manufacturer in the United States and the world. It produced 8.39 million vehicles in 1994, owns 198 billion U.S. dollars in assets, has annual revenues of 155 billion U.S. dollars, and annual profits of 4.9 billion U.S. dollars, and employs 690,000 people. The word “GM” on its trademark (see Figure 1) is short for GM General Motors Corporation, taken from the first letter of the first two words.
