“翻译腔”问题一直为不少学者所关注,在翻译研究中亦占有一席之地。但回顾学界关于“翻译腔”的讨论,却不乏模糊晦涩之处。本文首先回顾已有研究中对“翻译腔”的分析与定义,通过梳理翻译腔、翻译体、翻译症三词使用中的异同,提出翻译腔研究中存在的矛盾。进而探究矛盾形成的原因,得出界定翻译腔的“读者维度”与“译者维度”两大标准。最后有针对性地提出“翻译腔现象”一词,以期在相关研究中达到拓展研究范围、重视译者能动作用的双重目的。
The problem of “translation chamber” has always been the concern of many scholars and also has a place in translation studies. However, there is no lack of ambiguity in the discussion of academic circles about the translational cavity. This paper first reviews the analysis and definition of “translational cavity” in the existing research, and puts forward the contradictions in the translational cavity research by combing the similarities and differences in the use of translational cavity, translational body and translational syndrome. Then we explore the reasons for the formation of contradictions and conclude two major criteria of “reader dimension” and “translator dimension” which define the translation cavity. In the end, the author proposes the term “translation cavity phenomenon” in order to achieve the dual purpose of expanding the scope of study and focusing on the translator’s active role in related researches.
