2006年12月6日上午,“全国纺织工业劳动模范暨先进集体表彰大会”在人民大会堂隆重召开。国务院副总理曾培炎为大会发来贺信,他在贺信中说,纺织工业是我国国民经济的传统支柱行业,也是我国竞争优势比较明显的产业,在增加就业、扩大出口、繁荣市场、提高人民生活水平等方面发挥了重要作用。曾培炎副总理对纺织企业还提出了殷切期望,他说,“十一五”期间,纺织工业要贯彻落实科学发展观,坚持走新型工业化道路,切实转变增长方式,促进产业升级和结构调整,依靠科技进步,着力打造自主品牌,注重资源节约和环境保护,巩固和提高产业竞争能力。在12月6日下午举办的“弘扬新时期劳模精神高峰论坛”上,来自吉林化纤、经纬纺机等许多纺织行业的企业家济济一堂,对纺织行业的过去和未来展开了热烈的讨论。本刊编辑部根据部分企业老总在论坛上的演讲内容编辑整理了本组文章,以飨读者。
