在对女性能力的认识评价上，长期存在着严重的轻视与贬低，造成女性智力潜能的极大浪费和损害。现代心理学对女性能力品质的综合考察结果表明，男女的智力特点在整体性质上并没有差异。男女在创造性思维能力方面都没有表现出统计学意义上的优势。建立健全有效公平的政策环境机制是开发女性智力潜能的必要保证；提高妇女的受教育程度和终身学习意识是开发女性智力潜能的有效手段；加强女性的非智力因素品质的训练，是发挥广大妇女才智潜能的内在机制。
In the assessment of the ability of women, there has been a long period of serious contempt and devaluation, resulting in tremendous waste and damage to the intellectual potential of women.
