郭泰纳夫,俄国人,毕业于俄国莫斯科大学,曾参加过日俄战争,历任彼得格勒民兵部队队长、海参威卫戍部队军事法庭总参谋部副参谋长等职,1920年退役。而后来华,1922年11月起担任上海会审公堂巡捕,1929年10月改任上海公共租界工部局俄语译员。郭泰纳夫在会审公堂任期期间,致力于利用租界档案进行上海租界史的研究,曾分别于1925年及1927年出版了《上海会审公堂与工部局》、《上海工部 Guo Tainafu, a Russian national, graduated from Moscow University in Russia and participated in the Russo-Japanese War. He served successively as captain of the Petrograd army and deputy chief of staff of the General Staff of the military parachute of the sea cucumber Granville garrison. He retired in 1920. Later, in November 1922, he took the post of inspector in Shanghai, and in October 1929 he was renounced as a Russian interpreter of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau. During his tenure at the trial court, Guo Tainaf devoted himself to the study of the history of the concession in Shanghai using the concession archives.
