美国女作家苏珊·柯林斯的小说《饥饿游戏》三部曲自问世以来就因其引人入胜的情节和对现实社会问题的深刻隐喻而受到了读者及评论界的广泛关注。根据这三部曲改编的四部电影自2012年起在我国陆续上映后,对电影和小说原著的相关评论大量涌现。很多学者从电影叙事、人性、乌托邦、宗教隐喻、女性生态批评视角等对电影或小说原著进行了阐释。本文将从环境公正这一新的视角对小说进行解读,来探讨这部科幻作品在揭露弱势种族和社群遭受的环境不公正问题中所体现出的生态价值。
American novelist Susan Collins’s novel The Hunger Games Trilogy has received widespread readership and critics attention for its fascinating plot and profound metaphor for realistic social issues since its inception. According to the trilogy adapted from the four films since 2012 in our country one after another after the release of the movie and the original novels a large number of related comments. Many scholars explain the originality of movies or novels from the perspectives of film narration, human nature, utopia, religious metaphors and female ecocriticism. This article will interpret the novel from a new perspective of environmental justice to explore the ecological value embodied in this sci-fi work in exposing the environmental injustice suffered by vulnerable ethnic groups and communities.
