沂蒙,是一块红色的热土。抗日战争时期,这一带是山东抗日根据地的指挥中心,在这里成立了党领导的第一个省级山东省政府;解放战争时期,这里一度成为整个华东解放区的政治、军事中心,号称“华东小延安”。在艰苦卓绝的战争年代,先后有罗荣桓、徐向前、陈毅3位元帅,粟裕、张云逸2位大将,许世友等13位上将,张震等63位中将,近400位少将在这块红土地上奋战过。
