On June 16, 2003, the centenary of the second largest auto giant in the world, Ford Motor Company celebrated its 100th anniversary. Approximately 80 members of the Ford family will gather in the family home base Michigan for a weeklong celebration. The rally is the grand family reunion of the six generations of the Ford family in history. The diasporas and their relatives all over the world rejoice in the grandchildren 's family and discuss family affairs. Many dignitaries and musicians attended the ceremony, and more than 30 old Ford cars from 1917 to 1930 went to Michigan from California to hold a car parade across the United States.
