Objective To analyze the influence of alcohol, tobacco and body mass index (BMI) on the score of aging males’ symptom scale (AMS). Methods Randomized respondents were selected by cluster sampling and age stratified sampling method, and the influence of alcohol, tobacco and BMI on AMS score was analyzed based on questionnaire. Results A total of 1 245 middle- and old-aged men were surveyed. Among them, 174 were urban areas with qualified blood samples and valid questionnaires, 790 in rural plain areas and 233 in mountainous rural areas, totaling 1,197. Statistical analysis showed that drinking alcohol and BMI had no significant effect on the AMS score. Within 10 years of smoking, sexual function symptoms gradually improved with the increase of smoking age, and the average score of sexual dysfunction was gradually reduced from 9.3 to 8.4. However, After more than 10 years of age, the symptoms of sexual dysfunction began to deteriorate, and the average score gradually reached 9.8 with the age of smoking. Even with smoking cessation measures, the mean value of sexual function symptoms still reached 10.6, suggesting that sexual dysfunction caused by long-term smoking may be irreversible Sex. Conclusion Alcohol consumption and BMI have no significant effect on AMS score. Smoking has a significant effect on AMS scores, especially in the part of sexual dysfunction, and sexual dysfunction caused by long-term smoking may be irreversible.
