××厂以余甘果树皮为原料生产含丹宁60~70%的拷胶,自1968年不断扩大生产以来,该厂肝肿大病人有所增多。是否与饮用含丹宁拷胶废水污染的水源有关,值得研究解决。为此,我们于1972年6~9月(丰水期),1973年1~3月(枯水期)进行了调查,以饮用拷胶废水污染水源的两个厂为调查组和以相邻的两个单位(饮用井水的××厂和饮用废水排出口上游的××场)为对照组,分别对职工、家属、儿童进行体检和临床化验;对拷胶生产的原料及排出的废水进行了毒物分析和毒性试验。现将调查结果初步报告如下:
