近代免疫学已从整体水平进展到细胞水平,乃至分子水平。在研究免疫反应中各类细胞相互作用的同时,又注意到抑制因子与辅助因子的免疫调节作用,目前世界各国已有4~5个实验室,已致力此项研究。彻底搞清这些因子的免疫调节作用,不仅能阐明正常免疫反应的调节过程,而且还能探讨由于免疫调节紊乱所引起的病理免疫反应的发生机理,从而找出相应的防治措施,为定向免疫调节奠定理论根据。本文仅就抑制因子及其免疫调节作用做一些介绍。
