Left colon cancer causes acute obstruction. One-stage resection and anastomosis are often due to a higher incidence of anastomotic disease. It has long been considered to be a risky operation. The author of 23 patients with acute left colonic obstruction, using the intraoperative antegrade colon reform to obtain satisfactory results. Methods From 1993 to October 1997, 35 patients with acute left-sided colorectal cancer surgery were collected. Six patients with unresectable tumors were only treated with colostomy.
