遗传工程水稻是湖南农学院利用生物工程技术以高科技特殊育种新途径,将玉米高光合速率有关基因DNA导入水稻中,再经过多代选育出来的超高产水稻新品种。专家们一致认为,GER—1是现代生物工程技术应用于大田作物育种实践的成果典范,被称为水稻史上第三次突破,属国内首创,世界先进水平。 遗传工程水稻在一般栽培条下亩产700公斤左右,丽江地区农科所试种获亩产1070公斤的高产纪录,较同等栽培条件下的杂交稻增产20%以上,被誉为“稻王”。可在二季
Genetic Engineering Rice is a super-high-yielding rice variety bred by Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences using bioengineering technology to high-tech special breeding new ways to introduce high-photosynthetic rate-related genes of maize into rice. Experts agree that GER-1 is a model fruit of modern bioengineering applied to crop breeding in the field. It is called the third breakthrough in the history of rice and it is a national initiative and the most advanced in the world. Genetically engineered rice yields of about 700 kg per mu under general cultivation and high-yielding records of 1070 kg per mu were planted in the Lijiang Prefecture Agricultural Science Institute, yielding more than 20% more yield than hybrid rice under the same cultivation conditions.
