著名的古代典籍《管子.小称第三十三》中说:“丹青在山,民知而取之;美珠在渊,民知而取之”。这说明对美的需求是人的基本心理活动。而人对现实的审美关系,是在人类实践活动的基础上历史地形成的一种普遍关系,这种关系不仅体现在高层的艺术领域,也体现在人类生活的各个领域。爱美之心人皆有之,审美观念、审美感受、审美想像、审美意识和审美理念无处不在。反言之,作为审美对象的艺术品可以用美的形式作为社会生活的镜子,推动人们去认识社会,改造社会,用美的形式作为满足人们审美需要的精神食粮,用艺术的形式“创造出懂得艺术和能够欣赏美的大众”。(马克思《<政治经济学批判>导言》?马克思恩格斯选集第二卷第95页)进而提高整个社会的审美文化水平。从这个意义上看,目前我们实施的各级博物馆免费开放,就是利用博物馆所珍藏的历史来满足人们审美需求、提高审美能力,促进社会和谐的最好形式。

As a spiritual food satisfying the aesthetic needs of the people, Art and the public can enjoy the United States. " (Marx's Introduction to Critique of Political Economy, Collected Works of Marx and Engels, Vol. II, p. 95) and thereby raise the aesthetic and cultural level of the entire society. In this sense, at present, the free and open museums at all levels that we carry out now are the best forms for using the history of the museum to satisfy people's aesthetic needs, enhancing their aesthetic ability and promoting social harmony.
