According to Defense & Security Electronics’s November 1995 issue, Confidante has now released the confidential Sidewinder 2.1 Internet firewall it developed for the U.S. Department of Defense. Sidewinder uses what is known as TypeEnforcement technology, which operates on ships with the same operating technology as water-tight barriers.
