中国对虾又称东方对虾,是世界三大名虾之一,因其特有的优良品质,深受国内外消费者的喜爱。我国的渤海、黄海是中国对虾野生资源的主要产区。由于1993年全球对虾病毒性流行病的爆发,给中国对虾养殖业造成了严重的经济损失。全国各沿海地区的水产部门工作者,一直在不断探求中国对虾养殖业的恢复之路。2001年辽宁省营口市红旗村开始利用废置的稻田,改造池塘,养殖中国对虾。经过了五个养殖季节,无论是养殖规模、养殖成功率,还是产量和效益都非常可观。显著的经济效益,促使养殖面积逐年成倍增加。为了避免盲目发展,

China’s Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea are the main producing areas of wild shrimp resources in China.
