在全党开展以实践“三个代表”重要思想为主要内容的保持共产党员先进性教育活动,是新的历史条件下,加强党的先进性建设的一次继续深化,是抓好党内自我教育的一个重大举措,是探索建立党员永葆先进性长效机制的一次崭新实践。 沈阳市根据中央关于开展先进性教育活动的“四句话”总体目标要求,确立了先进性教育活动的目标:觉员受教育,组织增活力,群众得实惠,振兴出成果。 党员受教育,关键是搞清“什么是共产党员先进性,如何保持共产党员的先进性”; 组织增活力,重点是推进各级党组织的“四项建设”、提高“三个能力”; 群众得实惠,从根本说就是要实现好、维护好、发展好最广大人民群众的根本利益; 振兴出成果,就是通过振兴沈阳老工业基地的成果让群众看到先进性教育活动的实效。 沈阳市各级党组织紧紧围绕先进性教育活动的目标,扎扎实实开展保持共产党员先进性教育活动,其显著特点是开门搞教育,领导做表率,并把解决问题和促进老工业基地振兴贯穿教育活动的始终,取得了较好的成效,为建设和谐沈阳打下了坚实基础。
