In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of several main techniques of die geometry description in three-dimensional numerical simulation of plastic forming are discussed in detail, which has important reference value for the selection of die geometric description method in three-dimensional plastic forming. This paper also summarizes the development trend of the die geometry description technology in three-dimensional numerical simulation of plastic forming.
