不透水性是黏土质炉顶砖的一个重要的性能。砖体随时间而降低的渗水性是砖体内气孔封闭过程的典型特征。由2种不同类型的原料混合物,在实验室炉中于800℃、900℃、1 000℃下煅烧生产的黏土质炉顶砖试样,测试其渗水性和气孔率等性能。砖体内气孔封闭过程尤其受到游离CaO的影响。在较低温度下煅烧后,以黏土砖为基础、方解石含量高的砖体表现出相当程度的内部气孔封闭。来自方镁石分解和钙水化物Ca(OH)2的游离CaO发生水化引起了砖体内气孔封闭,与CaO相比,它在增大砖体内毛细孔的体积后将其封闭。
Impermeability is an important property of clay roof tiles. Water permeability of the brick body decreases with time is a typical feature of the stomatal closure process in the brick body. Two kinds of raw material mixtures were calcined in a laboratory furnace at 800 ℃, 900 ℃ and 1000 ℃ to test the permeability and porosity of clay samples. Stomatal closure in the brick body is particularly affected by free CaO. After calcination at a lower temperature, brick bodies with a high calcite content exhibit a considerable degree of internal stoma closure. Hydration of free CaO from periclase decomposition and calcium hydrate Ca (OH) 2 causes the pores in the brick body to be closed, as compared with CaO, it closes the pores of the brick body after increasing its volume.
