在这日新月异的时代,又出现了一门新的科学:毛发分析。近藤贤在《毛发分析·基础篇》中指出,毛发分析是美国最近才开始确立的一门新科学,是毛发微量元素定量分析的简称。目前,依靠毛发分析诊断仅限于:①由于有毒金属元素和所需微量元素缺乏而致的代谢异常性疾病。②葡萄糖耐量降低。③冠状动脉异常。④营养吸收不良等疾病。毛发分析和其他诊断方法不同之处在于它不是为了给病人做出确切诊断,而是从几乎没有症状的所谓健康人中,发现由于有毒金属在体内蓄积和缺乏必要微量元素导致的代谢异常现象,这就是毛发分析的特点。利用这一诊断方法,可发现任何临床检查都发现不了的葡萄糖耐量
