人教版《数学》四年级下册第八单元有一节课是“平均数”。我在引导学生探究了什么是平均数后,出示了这样一道练习题(图1)。我对学生说:“谁来说一说这幅图的意思?”学生很快举手。我指着徐华说:“你来说一说。”徐华回答道:“这幅图的意思是,一天,小明来到了一个水塘边,他看到水塘里插着一块牌子,上面写着‘平均水深110厘米’。小明看到牌子想:‘我的身高是140厘米,下水游泳不会有危险。’”还没等我提问题,很多学生就高高举起了手。我指了一名学生问道:“你想说什么?”这位学生回答道:“我觉得小明的想法是错误的。因
