李商隐的乐府创作优劣参半,但均具有构篇精致、情感深厚的特点。对于规定性较强的乐府旧题,李商隐采用了情感蕴藉、语言平易的传统写法,并沿李贺诗开拓的方向继续发展,往往具有较高的创作水准。对于束缚相对较少的乐府新题以及据旧题改制者,仍学习李贺的独特诗风,却往往显露其典型缺陷,情感深沉但过分隐晦,构象晦涩破碎。即便如此,李商隐仍然创作了更多的乐府新题之作,以探索适合个人特质的独特诗风。
Li Shangyin's Yuefu creation has advantages and disadvantages, but all have the features of exquisite composition and profound emotion. For the more prevalent Yuefu old title, Li Shangyin adopted the traditional style of emotional implication and easy language, and continued development along the direction of Li He's poetry development, often with a high standard of creation. For the relatively restrained Yuefu new title and according to the old title system, still learning the unique poetic style of Li He, but often reveals its typical defects, deep emotion but too obscure, the conformation is obscure and broken. Even so, Li Shangyin still created more new works of Yuefu to explore the unique poetic style that suits personal characteristics.
