Dr. Adorn Golds, from the University of Michigan in 1973, pointed out in his research report: “Among the top-performing students in the university, Zn and Cu levels were higher than those of their classmates who did not study well.” This discovery caused People’s attention, in 1984, Dai Jingmei and other comrades to explore 136 healthy boys and girls and 20 mentally retarded mental retardation of those who physical, mental development and trace elements in the relationship pointed out: mental retardation who have hair Zn high hair Cu and Fat Fe low phenomenon. To further explore this relationship, we selected a group of junior college students and athletes who differed greatly in their mental development and physical fitness. In order to facilitate comparison, we also selected a group of 22 ordinary college students from the Artillery Academy.
