In this paper, we analyze the propagation of elastic waves in open-hole wells with a finite size of column-shaped sound source under fluid charge. The analytical results of elastic wavefields are given. It shows that under certain conditions, resonance can occur and the so-called “frequency-power log ”And“ frequency logging ”ideas.
