DRGs概述20世纪20年代诸多困扰医疗服务现实的问题之一就是“如何比较医疗服务提供者的优劣?”回答这个问题的最大困难在于,不同的医疗服务提供者之间收治病人的数量和类型不同,难以直接比较。为解决这个难题,病例组合的概念应运而生。疾病诊断相关组(DRGs)是众多病例组合中的一种。其基本理念是根据疾病类型、治疗方式及病例个体特征不同,进行逐级分类,最后成组。由于病例数量和类型众多,DRGs的分类过程通常需要借助计算机来完成,因此需要对疾病的诊断和操作进行编码。
