架空索道具有地形适应性强,能爬越陡坡,建设快,投资省,占用农田少,运输费用低等优点。为了适应开发矿业、加强内地建设的需要,原国家科委和一机部于1968年4月在重庆召开了全国索道技术会议;会议决定由一机、冶金、建材、水电等部有关使用、制造、科研与设计部门从1968年底联合开展架空索道设备的系列化设计工作。经过一年多时间,完成了全部系列标准图纸,接着由四川江油矿机厂完成了试制与试验工作,并从1971年开始按新系列设计供应产品。此项设计包括单线四连杆式、鞍座式索道,和双线下部牵引、水平牵引式索道的主要机械设备,即驱动机、货车、各种导向轮、线路设备和拉紧设备。选用本系列各部分标准设计,可以组合成四种型式单双线索道,生产能力可达30~300吨/时,运输距离可从几百米至几十公里,货车容量0.1~2M~3,驱动机功率20~240瓩,基本可以满足绝大部分中小型矿山与建设施工单位的需要。为了便于进一步推广该项系列设计,除已将系列设计图纸印制成册以外,下面对于各主要机械部件设计参数与系列内容作一简单介绍,供有关单位参考指正。
