There are several Notch 1-related signal pathways in the epithelial cells of cervical cancer such as RBP-JK pathway, PI3K-PKB / Akt pathway and IKK-NF-κB pathway, which play key roles in regulating normal cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis effect. Notch 1-related signaling pathways are involved in the development of cervical cancer, but overexpression of Notch 1 exerts a tumor suppressor effect by inducing cell cycle arrest. Therefore, the disturbed Notch 1 signal can play a dual role due to different cellular environments, and these molecular levels will be applied to the gene therapy strategy of cervical cancer.
