Introducing SGI-ORIGIN-2000 parallel model of SGI-ORIGIN-2000, the latest generation of SGI company in the United States, the structure is distributed and shared storage structure DSM, using CC-NUMA technology. This technology has both good programmability, but also has good scalability. ORIGIN products feature linear scaling over a large area, truly high bandwidth, combined with delayed Craylink interconnect technology and scalable IRIX operating environment, and created an advanced architecture that combines SMP distributed Storage parallel processing and cluster processing advantages in one.
