为落实去年12月上海会议的精神,我会于1990.5.31~6.1日在北京召开了一次工作会议,就建立摩擦学数据库和召开全国第五届摩擦学学术会议的问题进行了讨论。我会全体副理事长和部份理事共10人参加了会议,国家自然科学基金会材料工程部机械学科负责人雷源忠同志,机械工业出版社夏曼萍同志也应邀出席了会议。代表们交流了各单位开展的工作,就建立摩擦学数据库的意义、组织和近期工作,进行了讨论。大家谈到,摩擦学技术对节约材料和能源消耗,提高机械寿命和可靠性以及开发极端工况下的新产品都有很大意义。但由于摩擦学是一门综合性的边缘学科,涉及到机械学、材料学、物理学、化学等许多学科。机械零部件的摩擦学性能对工况条件、环境等极为敏感,往往“差以毫厘,失之千里”。这一切决定了摩擦学技术很难为一般的工作者所掌握和采用,即使是摩擦学工作者本身,也因为只擅长摩擦学的某一方面,不大可能全面地应用摩擦学的
In order to implement the spirit of the Shanghai Conference in December last year, I held a working meeting in Beijing from January 5 to March 31, and discussed the issue of establishing a tribological database and convening the 5th tribological conference in China. I will all the vice chairman and some directors of a total of 10 people attended the meeting, the National Natural Science Foundation of materials engineering department leader Lei Yuanzhong comrades, Machinery Industry Press Comrade Xia Manping was also invited to attend the meeting. The deputies exchanged the work carried out by various units and discussed the significance, organization and recent work of establishing tribological databases. It is said that tribological technologies are of great significance for saving materials and energy, improving mechanical life and reliability, and developing new products in extreme conditions. However, tribology is a comprehensive edge discipline, involving many disciplines such as mechanics, materials science, physics, chemistry and so on. Tribological properties of mechanical parts of the working conditions, the environment is extremely sensitive, often “almost the same, lost thousands of miles.” All this determines the tribology technology is difficult for the average worker to grasp and use, even the tribologists themselves, but also because only good at one aspect of tribology, it is not possible to fully apply tribology
