铂铱合金库平两是清末定制的库平两原器。中国计量科学研究院藏。光绪三十四年(1908)清廷准奏农工商部及度支部拟定的划一度量衡制及推行章程。根据章程采用米制划一各种度量衡器的规定,农工商部遂派员至各国考察,并行文给驻法使臣,商请国际权度局制造铂铱合金营造尺、铂铱合金库平两原器和镍钢合金副原器及精密检校仪器。宣统元年(1909)制成。校准后并发给证书护送来华。今器保存完好,证书在20世纪60年代遗失。经中国计量科学研究院用三级天平实测,重37.3克。由此推算1斤重596.8克。
