受儒、道两家学术思想的影响 ,中国文人一般都具有两重生命观。儒家建功立业的人生价值观构成了他们的外在生命 ,道家逍遥适性的人生理想构成了他们的内在生命。汉代儒学占统治地位 ,追求功业便成为汉代文学精神的主流 ;六朝玄学占统治地位 ,追求人生自由便成了六朝文学精神的主流 ,这明显是对汉代文学精神的黜退。唐代儒、释、道三教并立 ,表现在文学中 ,就是既重功名 ,又求人生自由。这种结合最突出地体现在李白的诗作中。李白以功成身退的人生理想把这二重生命统一起来 ,求得了中国文人两重生命内外互补的模式 ,从而使他成为中国文化精神的一个典型代表
Affected by Confucianism and Taoism, Chinese literati generally have a dual outlook on life. The values of Confucian life, which formed their own merits, constitute their external life. The ideal of life of Taoist liberty constituted their inner life. Han dynasty Confucianism dominated the pursuit of the merits of the Han Dynasty literature has become the mainstream of the spirit of the Six Dynasties; metaphysics dominance, the pursuit of freedom of life has become the mainstream of the literature of the Six Dynasties, which is obviously the retreat of the literary spirit of the Han Dynasty. In the Tang Dynasty, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism were both independent and manifest in literature. This combination is most prominent in Li Bai’s poetry. Li Bai’s rejuvenation of life ideal unifies these dual lives and obtains the internal and external models of double life of Chinese literati, thus making him a typical representative of the Chinese cultural spirit
