建设场址区地质条件的优劣可以影响工程建筑的安全和工程造价。在城市建设立项前,应对建设厂址区的工程地质条件进行调查。根据南通市域建设场址区表层100 m以浅的地层成因类型、沉积时间、土层物理力学性质以及工程地质条件,以场址区工程地质钻孔资料为基础,对区内工程地质层、工程地质分区、主要工程地质问题进行了初步分析和探讨,编制了南通市市域工程地质分区图,旨在提高南通市城市建筑工程防御自然灾害的能力。
