谢灵运山水赋脱离汉赋“凭虚”倾向而注重写实,述情赋摆脱了汉代以来《诗》学讽喻之义。其拟乐府主情受到本辞影响,山水诗则以理节情,又以体制之限而情感内敛,但述情赋则以铺陈直述情感。谢灵运山水诗的空间铺排和时间顺叙归于属对的移步换形,而于景物点逗即止、出象为足,山水赋则一顺铺陈。诗、赋语汇相通,构句却大不相同。
