漠月的文学创作,以短篇小说为主。和大多数宁夏作家一样,对于这种体裁,他表现出了钟情和执著,也体现出了才华,取得了不俗的成绩。至今,漠月已出版了三本短篇小说集:《锁阳》《放羊的女人》《遍地香草》。《遍地香草》是最新的一个集子,2013年8月由阳光出版社出版。从题目上能明显地看出来,漠月还是一如从前地继续着他的乡土小说写作。与绝大多数同龄的西部作家一样,漠月的文学书写扎根于广袤、贫瘠、热烈、神性的西部乡土大地。漠月出生于内蒙古阿拉善盟,童年也成长于此,
