两千多年来,农民一直是中国最大的弱势群体。新中国成立后,特别是改革开放这20多年,农民的弱势群体地位得到极大改善,农民阶层迅速分化并向城市迁徙。最具有社会学意义的现象是,农民工以乡镇企业为跳板异军突起,坚韧不拔地行走在城乡之间,实现了有史以来中国农民最彻底的一次解放,是中国产业工人划时代的整体性更新。 For more than two thousand years, peasants have always been China’s largest vulnerable group. After the founding of New China, especially over the past 20-plus years of reform and opening up, the position of the disadvantaged groups of peasants has been greatly improved. The peasantry has been rapidly differentiated and migrated to the cities. The most sociologically significant phenomenon is that migrant workers are taking the emergence of township and village enterprises as a stepping stone in the spring and walking between urban and rural areas with determination and perseverance and realizing the most complete emancipation of Chinese peasants in history is an epoch-making, holistic update of Chinese industrial workers.
