通过多重抗药性大肠杆菌(供体茵)与EITor型霍乱弧菌(受体茵)的接合(conjugation),可使大肠杆菌的抗药因子(R因子)及其抗药水平传递给霍乱弧菌,并使霍乱弧菌获得对13种抗菌药物的多重抗药性。大肠杆菌与霍乱弧菌的接合转移频率平均为1.41×10~(-6)。获得了多重抗药性的霍乱弧菌又能将其R因子整批地转递给营养缺陷型大肠杆菌K_(12)。经无药肉汤液37℃传40代,霍乱弧菌获得的R因子仍稳定的存在。接合转移子菌株的生化特性,形态染色和抗原性等与其受体菌相一致。
