花生四烯酸在机体内具有重要的生物学功能是因为它能在不同的酶催化下生成前列腺素与白三烯,而后二者在哺乳动物组织分布极广,是细胞生长、分化及运动的重要调节因子。近年来的研究表明,选择性地激活或阻断花生四烯酸的生物代谢,对肿瘤防治有着不可忽视的作用。一、花生四烯酸的代谢在有微粒体的细胞中,膜磷脂在磷脂酶A的作用下释放出花生四烯酸,后者立即经环加氧酶和脂质加氧酶途径代谢。
