1929年Drury等首次描述了腺苷酸及腺嘌呤衍生物的电生理效应。当时已证实静脉注射腺苷酸能使窦性心律减慢并产生暂时性房室阻滞。但直到最近,对腺苷酸在心血管系统方面的作用的最大兴趣还是集中在调节心脏及其它器官的局部血流。
In 1929, Drury first described the electrophysiological effects of adenine and adenine derivatives. At that time, it was confirmed that intravenous injection of adenosine can slow sinus rhythm and produce temporary block. Until recently, however, the greatest interest in the role of adenosine in the cardiovascular system was focused on regulating local blood flow in the heart and other organs.
