奈达的读者反应论认为翻译的宗旨是以目的语读者为本,强调他们作出的反应须与原语读者阅读原文时所产生的反应基本相同。一种较为普遍的观点认为汉语语法的最大特点是意合。在意合概念提出后,学者们对意合的内涵,现象、特点、规律以及意合手段等都进行过探讨。本文尝试分析了英汉两种语言的不同特点,并以读者反应论为基础,提出了具体的意合方法,认为在旅游翻译中要充分考虑到译文读者的反应,使得其文本信息的传递与融合真正得以实现。
