本次大赛共有63个分赛区,覆盖了25个省、自治区、直辖市,在新疆、云南等少数民族较多的省份也设立了分赛区;除了继续设立网络分赛区以外,本届大赛还首次设立了中国盲人协会分赛区和全国高校广播联盟等覆盖特殊人群的分赛区。在历时5个多月的初赛中,来自全国各地乃至海外的5.3万余朗诵爱好者参与了这场语言盛事,最终有朗诵和配音两类作品共1655件进入复赛。复赛于8月15日在北京评审结束,由各地广播电视台、部分高校和艺术院团的20多位专家组成的大赛复赛评委团经过4天紧张
