With the reform of the RMB exchange rate formation mechanism opened on July 21, 2005 as a symbol, the RMB foreign exchange market has been developing for seven years. Looking back at the development of the market, we find that change and development have been the eternal theme of market development in the past seven years. Great progress has been made in building market mechanisms, enriching foreign exchange products, introducing market participants and relaxing regulatory requirements. A more market-oriented RMB foreign exchange market has gradually taken shape.
