在国际疾病分类的肿瘤分类中,对于“独立(原发)多个部位的恶性肿瘤”的界定在国际上因为观点的不同而存在着分歧,还没有一个统一的规则,国内到目前为止也没有明确的规定。经与病理医师及临床医师讨论取得共识,并结合《国际疾病分类肿瘤学专辑》第三版(ICD-O3)的理念,本文运用归类举例说明的方法,归纳出确定多原发恶性肿瘤的要点:第一,必须是两个及以上的恶性肿瘤;第二,恶性肿瘤彼此是独立的原发的;第三,与发生的时间没有关系。此外,必要时还需与病理及临床科室联系,具体情况具体分析。发生多原发恶性肿瘤时采用综合编码C97来表达。
