辽宁省海城县小孤山旧石器时代晚期遗址出土了三件精美的骨针,有关同志已发表了报告。本文拟用显微镜观察骨针表面的加工痕迹,通过模拟实验,探讨小孤山先民制作骨针的工艺技术。并观察加工骨针后的石器使用微痕。辽宁省博物馆大力支持借给我们标本以供研究,我系吕文渊同志拍摄标本,在此一并致谢。一、骨针表面特征的观察观察使用的显微镜是“欧林巴斯休视显微镜”(型号:SZH-151),放大倍率7.5—384倍。观察时采用常用的显微镜斜照明灯和轴向投射照明灯。利用后一种照明灯观察针身
