Hefei University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei Microscale Physical Sciences National Laboratory, School of Chemistry and Materials Science and Technology Professor Xie Yi Task Force in the synthesis and application of atomic two-dimensional ultra-thin structure made new progress. Researchers used a novel ultra-thin two-dimensional structure to construct an ideal model system (a new model system for catalytic activity centers) to study the role of active centers in catalysis. The result is ”Pits confined in ultrathin cerium."
