当今社会越来越重视企业所需要承担的社会责任。企业社会责任报告(CSR),因为受众广泛,为增强可读性,标题大多非常简练,韵味浓厚,翻译起来也较有难度。而每年企业发布的社会责任报告书中,里面的英译版本存在许多翻译上的问题,没能为外国的利益相关者们提供很好的报告。本文将以目的论为主要理论依据,以中国银行的社会责任报告为例,探索分析企业社会责任报告书中的汉译英存在的诸多误区,以及寻找如何才能够合理、有效地对企业社会责任报告进行翻译。
In today’s society, more and more attention is paid to the social responsibilities that enterprises need to shoulder. Corporate Social Responsibility Report (CSR), because of its wide range of audiences, is mostly concise, informative and difficult to translate in order to enhance readability. In the annual corporate social responsibility report released by the Chinese government, there are many translation problems in the English version of the translation, failing to provide good reports to foreign stakeholders. Based on Skopos theory, taking the social responsibility report of Bank of China as an example, this essay will explore and analyze many errors in the CE translation report and how to find out how to reasonably and effectively manage corporate social responsibility Report for translation.
