自Stevens(1906)首次指出雌雄个体中不同性染色体与性别的关系以来,大量的研究表明,绝大多数动物的正常性别是由一对性染色体来决定的。根据这一理论,一个个体的性别取决于受精时雌雄配子所携带的性染色体类型。因此,在动物性控研究中只要抓住两类精子的鉴别和分离的问题,性控就有希望。这一点,不但在理论上是正确的,而且从已经取得的某些进展来看,两类精子的鉴别和分离是有可能的。
Since Stevens (1906) first pointed out the relationship between different sex chromosomes and sex in both sexes, a large number of studies have shown that the normal sex of most animals is determined by a pair of sex chromosomes. According to this theory, the gender of an individual depends on the type of sex chromosome carried by male and female gametes during fertilization. Therefore, in the study of animal sex control as long as the two types of sperm to seize the identification and separation issues, there is hope of sexual control. This is not only theoretically correct, but judging from some of the advances that have been made, the identification and separation of two types of sperm is possible.
