70年代中期,安康地区大面积开辟了22.79万亩单条植茶园。就茶树的系统发育规律而言这批茶园,到了80年代中期,应进入投产盛期,平均单产至少应在40公斤以上,但是由于土壤脊薄、坡度较大、缺株断行、品种混杂、强采多收和管理水平低等原因,致使茶树未老先衰,大面积平均单产仅有10余公斤。为了探索早衰低产茶园的改造对策和研究分析改造后的综合效益,我们从1983年开始立题研究历时7年,现已结束,特将主要结果总结如下。
