广州抽水蓄能电站是我国最大的抽水蓄能电站 ,总装机容量 8× 30 0 MW,分二期建设 ,共用上、下水库 .一、二期电站分别设 1条引水隧洞 ,采用独立地下厂房和开关站 ,可独立接入电网 ,并设一回联络线连接 .该电站采用高参数机组、5 0 0 k V超高压电气设备、计算机监控系统等先进设备 .工程设计中应用多项国内外领先的技术 ,有多项成果获奖 .电站于 1 993年并网发电 ,截止到 1 999年底累计发电 6 1亿 k W· h,抽水耗电 80亿 k W· h,在广东电网中担负调峰、填谷、调频、调相、事故备用等任务 ,对电网核电安全稳定运行发挥着重要的作用 .广东省抽水蓄能资源丰富 ,电网急需蓄能电源 ,现已确定惠州站址为广东省第二个抽水蓄能电站首选站址 ,其预可研报告已经完成 .
