新华社广告中心作为新华社优化广告资源配置的重要平台之一,主办《中国名牌》《北京参考》等社属媒体,代理《半月谈》《中国记者》、中国新华新闻电视网、《新华每日电讯》等社属媒体广告,全力发展户外大屏及互联网、微信、客户端等新兴媒体,整合广告、策划、公关、媒体、品牌等专业化资源,大力推进战略转型;同时,通过开展一系列具有国际影响力的大型品牌活动如“行动中国·相聚里约”、科博会循环经济论坛、世界绿色经济论坛、关注气候变化中国峰会、“南南合作·中国之夜”等,在国际舞台匕成功推介中国品牌形象。2015年,广告中心还将通过影视、娱乐等众多新兴领域的探索与高端合作,重点建设数字化广告平台,进一步实现传统广告业务的“互联网+”式变革。
