笔者对随机选取的50篇中英文隐喻类摘要进行了六方面的对比分析,试图以表格和数据的形式展现出中英文摘要结构方面的异同,指出英文摘要较中文摘要字数少,句子多,语步完整;中文摘要模糊语出现的频率要高于英文摘要;英文摘要多用中句,而中文摘要多用长句;中英文摘要大都运用一般现在时,并从中英语言使用特点和文化环境等方面提供了可能的潜在解释,以提供一个撰写隐喻类摘要的基本框架。
The author compares sixty-five metaphorical abstracts randomly selected from Chinese and English to show the similarities and differences between Chinese and English abstracts in the form of tables and data. It points out that English abstracts have fewer words and sentences than Chinese abstracts, The Chinese abstract has a higher frequency of vague expressions than English abstracts. English abstracts use more Chinese sentences, while Chinese abstracts use more sentences. Both Chinese and English abstracts mostly use the present tense and are provided from the aspects of Chinese and English language use and cultural environment Potential explanations are possible to provide a basic framework for writing summaries of metaphors.
